確かに時代範囲がでかい。
序章にあったが「これまで歴史学者も文学者もsermonに興味も注意も引かれなかった」、だがしかし！
という感じで始まり、2001年に出版されたということは大陸よりかなり遅い、ということか？
これからもうちょっと時代が狭く設定された研究が進むのではないかと思われる分野（アイルランドで）。
