つまりだ、タイトルで、初期中世史に関心のある人が読むと問題があるよ、と言いたいわけで。タイトルは「初期中世西ヨーロッパ」と銘打っているが、ほとんどはいわゆる「ケルティック・フリンジ」地域の、初期中世の地方聖人と地方教会についての論文集である、ということだ。わたしにとっては非常にありがたいのだが。このあたりの歴史をやっている人なら、編者の名前でピンと来るわけだが。国内では９校が所蔵のもよう。しかしなぜ、東大は法学部の図書館にあるのか不明だ・・・。使いにくいんだよぉぉぉ。
