コルンバ伝研究会

に参加。いや、座って聞いてるだけだけど。明日もある。朝９時半に間に合うかが問題。
いまだに夜眠れない日々が続いているのだがな（昼間とっても眠いのに）。
今日の第２セッションでお隣に座ってくれた、ラテン語の若い先生（私より年下だと見た）、
「こういうところに来ると、『きゃー、彼が○○博士ねー、想像とちがーう』とか楽しめる」
と帰りがけにいわれ、その気持ちは良く分かったが、
「その気持ちは大変よく分かる」ととっさに英語で返せなかった。

とりあえず、今日はMáire Herbertを目で確認。
そういえば旧ボスはお話をしたことがあるといっていたなぁ。
彼女は旧ボスを覚えているだろうか？　思い切って声をかけてみる？

わりかしきれいなブリティッシュ英語だったんですけど。
（ああ、あのoの発音！　とか思ってたら全然理解できてなくてショックだ。）
