リスボンといえば
ポルトガル。ポルトガルといえば鰯の塩焼き。ｳﾏｰ。
留学中にいったジャージー島で、Ｂ＆Ｂの奥さんに聞いたおいしいレストランが、近所のポルトガル料理屋。留学中最初で最後に堪能したおいしいお魚であった。
で、数少ない、全世界が（もちろん日本も含む）アイルランドを注目している今日この頃。
争点がイマイチよく分からないのだが、都会では賛成が多く、田舎では反対が多いと言われているリスボン条約の批准、ということは何らかの経済的理由が含まれているんだろうな、ということはなんとなく分かる。この国自身、ものすごく保守的であり、都会ではそうでもなくなったとはいえ田舎は今も昔も（といってもほんの十年前ぐらいまでと）あんまり変わってないのかとも思う。
バブルもはじけたというか経済成長も止まってしまったしな・・・。
Lisbon referendum outcome too close to call
The outcome of the Lisbon Treaty referendum appears to be too close to call, with counting of votes set to get underway at 9am.
The results in the 43 constituencies will be communicated to the main count centre in Dublin Castle throughout the day, with a final result expected sometime in the afternoon.
Turnout is understood to be somewhere between 40% and 45%.
Observers had predicted that a turnout below 40% would favour the 'no' camp, while a high turnout is likely to boost the 'yes' vote.
Turnout is believed to have been higher in urban areas than rural areas.
投票率が高ければおそらく賛成、低ければ反対という結果が出るという予想。投票率は40%がその結果を左右する数字、ということで、予想では40~45%ぐらいではないか、というのが上記の記事。
現在のところ一部で15%ほど開票が進んでいるが、物事の遅いアイルランド、もう少し時間がかかりそうだ。
世界中が注目してるのに・・・。

Political establishment facing embarrassing Lisbon defeat
Ireland's political establishment looks to be facing into an embarrassing defeat in the Lisbon Treaty referendum.
With almost 12% of results declared, the 'no' side is ahead by around 54% to 46%, despite all the main political parties campaigning for a 'yes'.
The 'no' vote is in the majority in eight of the 10 constituencies to have so far reported their results.
Tallies from the rest of the country also indicate that the 'no' side is ahead in most areas.
Anti-Lisbon campaigners are already claiming victory, while several leading politicians have effectively conceded defeat due to the picture that has been emerging for the past few hours.
否決の予想が大きい。しかも当初の予想より大差がついたっぽい。54%で否決（の見込み）って言うのは離婚が認められた時の数字よりも大きい気がする。「The 'no' vote is in the majority in eight of the 10 constituencies」というのはつまり「否、とした人は有権者10人のうち８人」と言うことでいいのか？ なんか信じられない数字だわ、予想と違いすぎる。おそらくダブリンやコーク、リマリックのような都市部の開票が進んでないからこういう数字になっているのではないかと思われる。
しかし２大政党どちらも批准を求めて活動していたのに、ボロ負けしてメンツ丸つぶれ、ってことだわな。
今ところニュースサイトから分かるのは、
スライゴー・北リートリムで否決が57%
ティペレアリー北部で50%以上
同南部で53%
ウォーターフォードで54%
ケリー北部で60%近く
同南部で57%以上。
全部田舎だ。
とりあえずダブリンが出ないと何ともいえないな。全人口の三分の一がいるわけだし。
